Universal appeal: CSM Planetarium

Experience a unique Friday night watching the The Phantom of the Universe Planetarium show on April 13. It’s FREE and offers two showtimes (7:30 pm and 8:30 pm). The College of San Mateo Planetarium recently got an upgrade to new 4k resolution digital projectors and GOTO CHRONOS II star projector. On April 21, the planetarium has a Jazz Under The Stars event on the observatory’s rooftop. This event is also FREE and runs 8:30-10:30PM. They also offer unique programs such as “Project Star Gaze” program for kids and teachers. These shows get school children excited about science and discovering the wide world of astronomy.
